| Anders Aarum Trio is currently one of the most interesting piano-trio in Norway. The trio has existed and been active on stage and festivals since 1999. Together with Anders Aarum (piano) you will find Ole Morten Vaagan on bass and Andreas Bye on drums. In May 2006 the trio released their third album on the label Jazzaway Records. The music is lyrical and sophisticated with beautiful melodic lines. At the same time the trio also expresses a hard-swinging sound in an open, creative and innovative landscape. Anders Aarum Trio manages both to stay with the classic style of chamber jazz and also appear as avantgardists as the same time. |
