On a sunny south-European beach four years ago the idea of forming a true glue rock´n´roll band with the attitude of vicious punk became a fact - The Accidents were born. D. Vacuum decided to salute his own and his friend’s lifestyle in the lyrics referring to the three punk chords Sex, Drugs and Rock´n´Roll. Ever since, the band has been spitting out raw and delicious little vinyl’s, six of them so far, not to forget the killer 10" (S/T) and the full length album “All Time High” (2004) which kicked and rushed in great reviews all over. The band members have been playing in different punk bands since the late 80s, like street punk vigilantes Voice Of A Generation and Genocide Superstars among others. But it wasn't until earlier this year they finally found out that The Accidents was It! The gorgeous sunny beach is now a filthy whiskey smelling dance floor. This handsome Accidental Belgian blue-looking machine consists of: D. Vacum (vocals & guitar), Fred Tank (bass), Kid Kreole (guitar) and Rick Rebel Jennings (drums). Their combined match weight is nothing you want to mess with, but if you want to go and get beaten up, try to analyze their sound and you will fail there, too. What about the sound? What about it? Well, some say Hurriganes, I say Teddy & The Tigers, others refer to New York Dolls, or why not Slaughter & The Dogs or Misfits. Who cares who they sound like?! I’ll rather think about WHAT they sound like, and I can’t figure it out! They have already been on rock´n´roll trips all over Scandinavia and Europe to cleanse the stage from those bands you wonder why they exist. Now its time for the band to take the highway and wipe it till it bleeds. ‘Cos if you really wanna hear how they sound when they sweat, go to a show and get a hint of how hard this shit is as their sweat turns to steam from the first bleeding chord to the last drink. I haven't heard anything like the Accidents before and I dare to compare them to something some old gangstarockers have tried to purify a long time ago. Pure punk rock evil is what they deliver even in the shivering love-smelling song “Old Town” or “Kings of The Night”. These guys are born again drunks, so put on your dancing shoes tonight! Because when the attitude of sex, drugs and rock-n-roll turns to a lifestyle, it is composed by tunes from The Accidents. So surrender yourself to the attacking fists of The Accidents - the scavengers of punk. "Imagine when you finally get home from a night out and you are totally barfly. You think about getting some sleep but then you turn on and up The Accidents and then you're on it again" D. Vacuum The Accidents sure are in the position of turning those shitty moods in life into something glorious. But they don't do silly songs that assault you, or try to give you a laugh for a moment. They deliver what affects you, and are out to tear you apart with classic tunes.
