Pål Jackman is known in Norway for his involvement in the critically acclaimed, innovative and genre-crushing band Wunderkammer. Now that Wunderkammer has been laid to rest, Jackman continues his musical vision on his own, with a little help from John Lilja (bass) and Morten Jackman (drums) and other friends.

Jackman is also known as an intense live artist that has spellbound audience all across Europe with his own distinct style, where gypsy- and folk music live side to side with pop, punk and funk. He performs handpicked cover songs as well as his own songs in Norwegian, English, German and Polish, a mix of language and music that has proved quite successful in Europe. He has toured with Kaizers Orchestra as well as performed solo and with his band in clubs and festivals all over Europe.

Producer Frode Gjerstad (The legendary Norwegian jazz tenor-sax player) and Morten Abel producer Inge Riska has captured the intensity and rawness that Jackman is known for as live-artist, and most of the recording was done live in studio.

This LP is a good introduction to Pål Jackman's eclectic musical universe and it is the final proof of his highly rated talents as a songwriter. Last summer Jackman was playing the Roskilde Festival among others. Jackman has been on a short release tour this spring and a trio-tour is being put together for the summer/fall 2006.
