My name is Birgir Orn Steinarsson, i've been the singer/guitarist of icelandic band Maus for quite some time now. everyone calls me biggi, and your welcome to do so as well. i moved from my hometown of reykjavik, iceland, to London late 2004, to focus on my creative work. i've just finished my debut solo album called "id", wich will be released this coming september. the album was produced by tim simenon and geoff smith and mixed by jono podmore. i also work as a producer, producing both my own album with them and others. so far ive recorded albums with kimono, lokbra and bag of joys. recently i've been doing some remixes for other bands. one of them "bigital onomatapoea" (kimono) is available here. Currently i´m working on arranging my songs for a 6 piece orchestra, dubbed the bigital orchestra because of the mixture of classical instruments with Tim´s bleeps and squeeks. we have a few gigs lined up in London and Iceland in the next months, so stay tuned!
