In the beginning they wrote songs and teamed up with different musicians which resulted in various shows and the 7” "Hurt yourself".

But something special happened when these two creative crazies met the lean and handsome drummer Gisle. He soon became a force within the band, tying together different musical ideas with rocksteady rythms.

This new glow resulted in the studiorecordings which gave birth to the record “Western Soul”, my first real encounter with Bonks music.

When I first heard the record I was amazed. I felt the excitement of music addressing my nerves in that good and joyfull way which makes you feel special. Excited I told myself that I wanted and needed to be part of this soulfull group. They were only three members and the record has the sound of a quartet so I knew I had a chance. I offered my services as a bassplayer and luckily they didn’t turn me down.

Since then we have toured Norway, Europe, USA and even China to play our music to people. Some of the action is on a new music video due to be released very soon and a new studioalbum is also on the way.

This is very personal but so is music. I just hope you can enjoy some of the excitement I feel with Bonk and who knows maybe its about time we expanded.
