Ghost Voo
biography / portrait

Ghost Voo was conceived on the day after 18th Dye's last concert in Copenhagen (the last concert on their final tour in 98' before they reformed, and started to tour again, that is). Inspired by the show they recorded their first song. They convinced themselves that it was a total rip-off of "Glass House Failure", only with drummachines. Perhaps they were flattering themselves. (But hear for yourself, it has since emerged on Voo's record "Greetings from" record) Their core is Miwer and Sren Voo both longtime members of reknowned Copenhagen comic studio Fort Kox, although many guests has played with them most notably boy wonder Simon Bukhave who played drums with them for a year. They have had three different (female) singers not at the same time, you understand. Once they even took on a redheaded saxplayer. The two members have little in common, but perhaps that is their strength. Miwer is a Ghandi freak and Sren likes really violent movies. By now they have recorded two albums, the self-titled debut, and the above mentioned. They are presently hard at work on their third record, which is taking a more electronic direction.
