The construction of the AmpTrain is the Debut album of Danish rock band Lis Er Stille, an album which in its 43 minutes time span is a regular break with traditional rock conventions Lis Er Stilles sound vestige both Mogwai and fellow Danes Mew Lis Er Stille was founded in 2004, as part of an art project between lead singer Martin Byrialsen and an artist known as Vindril. The idea was to transform Vindrils surreal paintings into music. Suddenly the music became so powerful, that a band was build up around it. Since then Lis Er Stille has continued to create music in accordance with strict ideals of innovation and originality. Lis Er Stille create their music as a collective, making each song as close to their ideals as possible. One of the main ideals is that music is not dependent of time. Music is feelings and takes the time it needs to play out. This is also the reason why the tracks are as long as they are. Lis Er Stilles main goal is the break loose from the standard conventions about how rock music is put together. Lis Er Stille mix elements from all kinds of rock music and creates a new, powerful and sparkling cocktail, which demands attention from its audience, but also gives a great reward to those obey to the demand; a truly unique music experience. Notning less. Especially Martin Byrialsens dreamy and warm vocal stands as a fantastic contrast to the bands raw rock energy. An energy which is particularly raw at Lis Er Stilles live performances By releasing The Construction Of The AmpTrain Lis Er Stille underlines the fact that they truly are one of the most interesting experiences on the Danish rock-scene in the years to come. To further underline the ideals by which Lis Er Stille works,, The Construction Of The AmpTrain is released on their own label, brutal but sentimental records, in order to maintain as much artistic freedom as possible. This is the same reason why no existing labels were contacted. Lis Er Stille is known to be a fantastic live band, whose concerts often results in a regular melt-down of sound, light, space, band and audience. This has brought them to major Danish venues like Vega and Rythmeposten.
