When the unexpected & unbelievable suddenly happens, the world takes an extra spin and then stops for a short second, before a completely new world order emerges from the tombs of infinity. Such a spectacular event took place just this summer, when some of Scandinavias most far out musicians met up somewhere deep in the mosquito ridden fir-jungle of Finland. Nobody knows whether they were naked or perhaps wore the understockings of soviet women but what the world now inevitably must learn is that their near-arctic drunk-trip has resulted in the formation of Kooma Zoo - A tropical hot clash’ish wildbeast five-piece rockband. At first there were just the two of them, Ralph the Rat and Dr. Mortimer Doom, of which you of course know the first one as the lead-mandolinist of bastards Afenginn. Their excessive intake of beer, summer vibes and Fernet Branca, though quickly brought forward the idea of including yet some other happy maniacs, namely Mr. Bob, The Claw and finally The Viking Beat Machine. Three of the guys are, when almost normal in their everyday life, members of such well known bands as Ju Ju Fabulous (The Claw) and Afenginn (Ralph & The Viking Beat Machine), while the other two (Dr. Mortimer & Mr. Bob) experiment in the finnish jazz sextet AiristoCats among others. The guys have, from the very beginning, felt a powerful, but dangerously off-the-beaten-track fascination for global power-happy-rock, and has developed an intoxicating spark for in unity sharing this happiness with the world. –Which apparently has left wife, kids & family without recent memory of their looks!
