HateSphere was formed back in ´93 in Denmark - under the name Necrosis - but changed the name to HateSphere just before the recordings of the first album back in 2000.

Since then the band have released five full length albums and two mini albums, and are currently signed to Steamhammer SPV - the German label also home of acts like Type O Negative, Motorhead, Kreator, Whitesnake etc.

The band have toured Europe a lot with bands like Kreator, Morbid Angel, Soilwork, The Haunted, Mastodon, Dark Tranquillity, Chimaira, Exodus, Crowbar and Dismember, and have had the honor of playing both Japan and China as well.

HateSphere won the Danish Metal awards for best album in 2002 and 2005, and best live band in 2003. Furthermore the band just took home a Danish Music Award with their newest album "Serpent smiles and killer eyes" in 2008.

2007 went on to be a very busy year for HateSphere. Not only recording and releasing a new album but also changing members. The comeback came at the raving show at the Danish Metal Awards in November 2007, and since then the band has been touring and touring.
