| Growing up, classical music made up the soundtrack. Both my parents are musicians, and there was music on every floor of the small row house in the Copenhagen suburb Virum. After learning how to walk, I walked the straight line into music high school, playing in bands, singing in choirs, and eventually ending up at the conservatory in Copenhagen. But suddenly it seemed to me there were no roads left untaken. So like Pinocchio, I decided to cut my strings, afraid that I’d never learn to stand on my own two feet.
