Teitur's early interest in Music gave him a reason to leave his homeland at the age of 17 and develop his craft, travelling and writing songs
and honing his skills. He is an artist whose music and lyrics remind you what songs can do for the soul.

After signing to Universal Records in the US, he recored in Denmark, Spain and L.A. with a small group of amazing musicians forging a warm,
organic sound combining his unique Acoustic Guitar playing and one take vocals with subtle beautiful arrangements.

He has been touring non stop in support of his debut album "Poetry & Aeroplanes". His live shows won rave reviews and he has built an increasing
live following wherever he tours in the world. He finished 2004 with a 14 week world tour, headlining nearly every date and packing out small clubs
in new territories to bigger theatres in the US, Canada and Denmark, finishing 2004 with a sold out 1300 capacity show in Copenhagen, with
band and string quartet, which was recorded on video for a DVD release. About 300 gigs in 18 months are proof of his work ethic and the
demand of his live shows.
